Armstrongs Accountancy was formed in December 2003 by John Armstrong, John had previously been practicing as a Chartered Accountant for nearly 30 years.
On 1st January 2007 Armstrongs accountancy merged with George Addis & Co to incorporate Peter Georgiades as a director of Armstrongs Accountancy.
Armstrongs Accountancy has a large and diverse client base dealing with audited group accounts to SME, Partnerships, Sole Traders, and Charity Accounts. We also advise high net worth individuals on tax strategy and planning.
The firm is registered to conduct Audit’s by the Insititute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW).

Peter Georgiades - BA, FCA - Director
Peter qualified in London with Touché Ross after gaining a degree in Economics.
After qualifying Peter spent 4 years with Price Waterhouse Coopers, 3 of those years in Hong Kong. Upon returning to the UK Peter then set up his own practice dealing with the affairs of sole trader business’ ranging up to medium sized family limited companies.
Peter has worked in the Warwickshire and South West Leicestershire region as a Chartered Accountant for the last 15 years. Peter is not only a director of Armstrongs but a director of several other companies which enables Peter to deal with problems from both sides of the fence so to speak. |

Paul Farmer - FCCA, FMAAT - Director
Paul is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with over 10 years experience in practice in and around the Coventry area. Paul has a wide variety of experience ranging from small businesses operated as sole traders and partnerships to corporate bodies on various taxation affairs, including dealing with HM Revenue Customsenquiries and investigations. Paul mostly dealswithpersonal tax for Armstrongs, as well as some of the more specialised accounts and audit work.

Saleem Ahmed - B.Com, FCA
(Bangladesh) - Director
Saleem qualified in 1976 and has served as an international finance manager with a US based multinational company before moving to the UK and has since been with John Armstrong some 15 years.
Saleem has wide ranging experience of managing and advising varied portfolio of clients ranging from small to medium size multinational companies. These clients cover most areas such as property, fashion, entertainment, music, communication, financial services, charities and many others. He has also been involved in preparation of business plans, forecasts, buying and selling businesses and other specialist projects. |

Muhammed Shabbir - ACA, FCCA - Director

Muhammed has several years of experience in managing and advising a varied portfolio of clients. These range from small including business start-ups right through to medium sized family owned companies.
He has an excellent working knowledge of wide variety of sectors, which include retail, manufacturing, consultancy, financial services, IT, professional practice and charities.

Derek Silk - FCA - Consultant
Derek qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peter Marwick Mitchell in Birmingham.
After qualifying he moved into industry as a financial accountant and company secretary to a UK listed company engaged in machine tool and transmission equipment.
Derek then became a director of a midland based precision engineering company specialising in gear manufacture for the aircraft industry.
Derek formed his own practice in 1974 and has practiced as a chartered accountant for the last 33 years.
In 1990 Derek joined John Armstrong as a partner in Armstrong Scarborough and Partners prior to John setting up Armstrongs Accountancy Limited. |
