Responsibilities of the Senior VFO Assistant will include:
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks, such as purchasing invoices, sales invoices, bank reconciliation
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Prepare VAT return
- Complete tax forms
- Maintain relevant records
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Streamline financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency
- Support the VFO department and junior team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Maintain client relationships
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting wages journals
- Adhering to deadlines each month
What we're looking for...
- Qualified AAT within a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency with financial software and tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero,QuickBooks and Sage
