Responsibilities of the Senior VFO Assistant will include:

  • Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks, such as purchasing invoices, sales invoices, bank reconciliation
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Prepare VAT return
  • Complete tax forms
  • Maintain relevant records
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Streamline financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency
  • Support the VFO department and junior team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Posting wages journals
  • Adhering to deadlines each month

 

What we're looking for...

  • Qualified AAT within a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency with financial software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero,QuickBooks and Sage
